And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
Jesus loved His Mother and brethren and did not dishonor them in these verses; however, he delighted in the new family God was creating, a family made up of those who do the will of God. “For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.” Oh, let us forever be members of this family; the royal family of God.
