And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her. And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.
Four things: 1) Peter’s Mother in-law was very ill; 2) They besought Jesus for her; 3) Jesus healed her; 4) She arose and ministered to them. Four spiritual things: 1) So many people are lost without the Lord. 2) We need to bring them to Jesus in prayer and put legs to our prayers when we can. 3) Jesus will turn none away, He will save all who put their trust in him; 4) Those who believe in Jesus go forth to minister to others. Oh, let it be so over and over again.
