Luke 24:44-45 (KJV)

And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures.

It was the first meeting of Jesus and his disciples after his resurrection, and he “opened their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures.” Jesus had done the same for the two men on the road to Emmaus for they said, “Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures.” Oh, let us wait upon the Holy Spirit to open to us the scriptures, and let us learn and know that Jesus is the heart and center of all scripture.
