Nothing separated Paul from “the love of God that is in Christ Jesus.” His sufferings and deprivations, his emotional burden for all the churches, none of those things turned him aside from loving and serving Christ. What a rich heritage we have received from those who have gone on before. They truly followed the Lord, and by God’s grace we can do the same. Jesus never lost a battle; let’s give our battles to him.
