In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Today is the beginning of a new year in this world which God created for us. “Let us rejoice and be glad in it” for today, and every day God gives, “is a day that the Lord hath made.” Do you believe the Biblical account of the origin of the earth and heavens and that Christ continues to uphold “all things by the word of His power?” God took a world that “was without form, and void,” a world where “darkness was upon the face of the deep,” and he turned it into something very good and beautiful. Let us read all of the New Testament into the first chapter of Genesis; and let us know that through Jesus God wills to take away our disorder, our darkness, our confusion, and make something very good and beautiful of our lives. Jesus was with God in the beginning; and if we will that it be so, Jesus is with us today. Now go with your faith lifted up, and have a Happy New Year!
