Mark 2:2-5 (KJV)

And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them. And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.

The paralytic and his four friends were certainly in earnest in seeking help from Jesus, and they would not let the crowd turn them away. Jeremiah 29:13 reads, β€œAnd ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” There is also a lesson here on the value of combined effort; what one could not do alone, four were able to accomplish. Oh, let us work together in bringing someone to Jesus; let us be β€œ laborers together with God.”
