“And when he thought thereon he wept,” and Luke says, Peter “went out and wept bitterly.” Peter committed a terrible sin in denying Christ three times, but thank God he repented and returned to God’s favor. If more sinners would only stop and think about their wrongs, perhaps more would come to repentance. Psalm 119:59 reads, “I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto Thy testimonies.”
