That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
What is in our heart will soon come out for Jesus said in Matthew 12:24, “Out of the abundance of the heart the mount speaketh.” Of course, Jesus had to die before he could be raised; but what counts for us is the fact that Jesus died and rose again on our behalf, he did it for us. Oh, let us believe in our heart and confess with our mouth this wonderful fact of history; “God hath raised (Jesus) from the dead” Our salvation depends upon it, and perhaps the salvation of others.
