We talked about how Adam and Eve lived in perfect peace in the Garden of Eden. They were happy and safe, and they could have lived forever in that beautiful garden; but now it was no longer possible. God still loved them, but now they were separated from God because of their sin. They were driven from the Garden of Eden and never allowed to return. In fact, God’s angels guarded the gate with a flaming sword to keep them out. Life really became hard for Adam and Eve. They died spiritually just as God had warned, and in time their bodies died as well. God told them they were made of dust and would return back to the dust of the earth from where they came. I believe Adam and Eve were sorry for their sin, and God forgave them; but sin always has bad consequences. History shows that when Adam and Eve had children and when their children had children, many of them disobeyed God just as Adam and Eve had done. Boys and girls, please do not listen to the devil and let him trick you with his lies as he did with Adam and Eve. God loves you very much and always wants what is best for you, and that’s the truth! God cannot lie, it is against his holy nature. The devil does not tell the truth, it is against his ugly nature. Tomorrow we will learn about Adam and Eve’s first children.
What is the only way people can be saved from their sins?
