Matthew 13:47-50 (KJV)

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Everyone who wills to do so can make heaven their eternal home for the Bible says, “Whosoever will.” However, Jesus warns in today’s Bible passage that everyone is not going to make it to heaven; and the day is coming when the wicked will be severed from the just. It is a serious matter that we love and follow Jesus for there is both a heaven to gain and a hell to shun, and only Jesus can take us to heaven. The fact is that we are choosing our eternal destiny by saying either yes or no to the claim of Christ upon our lives. Friends, let us pray for one another.
