No, self destruction is the natural consequence of disobedience to God; by running from God we run directly into the hands of Satan, the one who desires to destroy us because he hates our creator. The good news we need to live and share with others is that the arms of Jesus are always extended to gather under the wings of God every soul that looks to him in faith.
