Mark 10:51-52 (KJV)

And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

As blind Bartimeus sat by the highway begging, he learned that Jesus had just passed by. He cried out, “Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.” They tried to stop him, but he continued crying out to Jesus for mercy. He knew Jesus was his only hope, and he believed Jesus had power to heal him. Oh, let us be like blind Bartimeus. We cannot see Jesus with our physical eyes, but let us see him with the eye of faith.
