Mark 11:8-10 (KJV)

And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way. And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord: Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

The triumphal entry into Jerusalem…what a day of celebration! The crowd praised and exalted Jesus, their God-appointed Messiah, the one who will be crowned in heaven as King of kings and Lord of Lords. The celebration paused for a brief moment during the days surrounding his death, but returned to many hearts after his resurrection. Christian friends, may our rejoicing continue to grow and build into a great crescendo when the church triumphant marches into the New Jerusalem to live and reign with Jesus forever and forever.
