Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Over and over, the Bible encourages us to have faith that our prayers will be answered when we pray in God’s will; but at the same time, the Bible teaches that our prayers are hindered when our heart is not right with others. It is when our heart is right with God and right with others that God delights in answering prayer. Sally Koch in wisdom said, "Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day." Let us care for one another and then let us pray.
