Luke 5:18-19 (KJV)

And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him. And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.

Is there a spiritual application with today’s beautiful Bible story? Let us know that there are people all around us who need to be brought to Jesus. They either cannot or will not come on their own. Yet, they are sick and Jesus is the healer; they lack knowledge and Jesus is the master teacher; they are lost and Jesus came to “seek and save that which was lost.” We know the way to Jesus, but they may not. Oh, let us know that there can be no greater joy than helping someone come to Jesus.
