Luke 6:13-16 (KJV)

And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles; Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,  Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes, And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.

None of us can claim the honor of being one of the original twelve, and what a glorious privilege that would be. However, we should believe and know that every person who makes Jesus their way, their truth, and their life has a privilege just as glorious. Thomas A. Kempis put it this way, "Without the Way there is no going; without the Truth there is no knowing; without the Life there is no living." May God help us to be among the ever widening twelve who hear the call of Jesus and follow him.
