Luke 7:37-38, 50 (KJV)

And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

The right way for sinners to come to Jesus is in penitence, faith, and love. That’s what this woman did, and her life was transformed by the compassion and power of Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.” None of this was understood by the Jewish leaders, but it was very real to the woman. She came to Jesus with all her heart and she left with Jesus in her heart. The same happens to ever true seeker of the Lord.
