Acts 22:6-8 (KJV)

And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me. And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.

Paul shared the story of his conversion many times, and we need to hear it. A light from heaven struck him down, but a voice from heaven lifted him up. He became blind, but he saw truth he had never seen before. Paul was never the same after he met Jesus on the road to Damascus. The details may be different, but a true transformation takes place in the heart of every person who puts their full trust in Jesus.
