Romans 12:1-2 (KJV)

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The “mercies of God” is the greatest appeal that can be made to mankind to surrender our all to Jesus. How can we do otherwise when he has done so much for us? Those who do not feel the power of this appeal are not likely to be moved by any other. It is our “reasonable service” to present our “bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God.” It is joy of the highest order to surrender our all to Jesus and “prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
