Ezekiel 36:26-27 (KJV)

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

I really like what A.R. Wells said about this passage, “That is what I need, O God—a new heart. Not a new house, nor a new fortune, nor new garments; not new knowledge nor new philosophy; not new achievements even. What I need is a new heart.” Oh, let us be thankful that Jesus promised to come into our heart when we open the door to him, and it’s only through Jesus that we’re able to love God and others as we should. Lord, please help me to always keep the door of my heart open to you.
