The Story of Creation, Part 2 (Found in Genesis 1-2)

Have you ever wondered how all the people got on the earth? A lot of people have been trying to figure that out for a long time. If they would just read the Bible, they would know how we all got here. The first man and the first woman were Adam and Eve. How did they get here? The Bible says that “God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” The Bible also says that God put Adam into a deep sleep and took one of his ribs, and he made his wife, Eve, from the rib he had taken from Adam. Adam really loved the wife God gave him, and Eve loved Adam. And now you know how all the people on the earth got here. Adam and Eve had children, and their children had children, and their children had children, and on and on; but it all started with Adam and Eve. The Bible says we are all of one blood, and Eve is the mother of all living. The important thing to remember is that God is in charge, and you live on this earth today because God wanted you to be here. Another important thing to remember is that we should honor our father and mother. In fact, it’s one of the Ten Commandments. God loves you very much and has special plans for your life. Do you believe Jesus is watching over you every day? Tomorrow we will learn more about Adam and Eve.
