Luke 13:29-30 (KJV)

And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

Lawrence Richards shares, “Most Jews of Jesus’ day counted on their privileged position as descendants of Abraham to gain them entrance to God’s kingdom. Jesus teaches that salvation is a matter of personal faith, and not of being born into a nation, a family, or even a church. How stunned those who missed the narrow gate will be, to see even Gentiles celebrating with Abraham, and themselves locked out.” Let us hear once again God’s promise to all who put Jesus first in their lives: “And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.” I want to be among them, don’t you?
