Romans 14:7-9 (KJV)

For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

“Whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.” How wonderful to know that Jesus is “Lord both of the dead and living.” What is the basis of his Lordship? His sacrificial death and resurrection followed by his ascension into heaven surely testify that Jesus is “Lord of all,” and through him we experience life at its best, in both worlds. He is Lord, He is Lord
He has risen from the dead
 And He is Lord
 Every knee shall bow
 Every tongue confess
That Jesus Christ is Lord
