If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Jesus came to this earth and in a human body to purchase our redemption; and Paul says, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above.” The way we live our life does make a difference. In fact, it is only by living in union with God that we experience true spirituality and prepare ourselves for the day “when Christ, who is our life, shall appear.” And Paul proclaims, “then shall ye also appear with Him in glory.” Friends, let’s look up to God. He is looking down on us.
