Colossians 4:5-6 (KJV)

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

“Redeeming the time.” Ephesians 5:16 also says, “Redeeming the time, for the days are evil.” “When as a child, I laughed and wept, time crept; When as a youth, I dreamed and talked, time walked; When I became a full grown man, time ran; When older still I grew, time flew; Soon I shall find in traveling on time gone.” Oh, God, “so teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom” (Psalm 90:12).

  • 1 minute x 365 days = 1 year of working your way through Bible passages from most NT chapters in chronological order and some from the OT.
