2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 (KJV)

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul prayed for the believers at Thessalonica that they would walk worthy of their calling, that they would “fulfill all the good pleasure of God’s goodness” toward them, that they would experience “the work of faith with power,” and especially “that the name of the Lord Jesus Christ” would be glorified in them. Friends, let us pray for one another that the grace of God will work the same in His church today.
