And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
“Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.” What a statement of commitment. May that be our commitment as well for following Jesus is always the right thing to do and it is the most blessed thing to do. It is “our reasonable service,” and it will pay great dividends during our time here on earth and throughout all eternity. Friends, God doesn’t owe us anything, yet we receive everything worth having when we follow Jesus.
