And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
“Great is the mystery of godliness!” Think about it. A wonder of all wonders is that “God was manifest in the flesh.” We cannot explain it, we cannot comprehend it, yet God and man became one in the person of Christ. The Son of God became the Son of man, and our salvation depends upon that union. And here’s the best part; God’s Salvation reaches everyone wherever Jesus is “believed on in the whole world.”
